Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring SendPulse, Bitbucket, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the SendPulse and Bitbucket integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SendPulse and Bitbucket (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect SendPulse and Bitbucket

Bitbucket + Slack + SendPulse: When a new commit is made to a Bitbucket repository, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the marketing team. This prompts them to prepare a related campaign email in SendPulse, ensuring timely communication about code updates.

Jira + SendPulse + Jira: When an issue is updated in Jira (specifically, when a bug is fixed), the automation retrieves the issue details. It then uses SendPulse to send a notification to a predefined segment of affected customers. Finally, it transitions the issue to a 'Closed' state within Jira.
