Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring SendPulse, Okta, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the SendPulse and Okta integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SendPulse and Okta (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect SendPulse and Okta

Okta + SendPulse + Slack: When a new user is created in Okta, they are automatically added to a specified mailing list in SendPulse. A welcome email is then sent via SendPulse, and a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel informing HR of the new user.

Okta + SendPulse + Google Sheets: When a user is removed (event triggered) from Okta, they are unsubscribed from a specified mailing list in SendPulse to prevent further emails. This event, including user details, is then recorded in a Google Sheets spreadsheet for tracking purposes.
