Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Simplesat, Discourse, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Simplesat and Discourse integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Simplesat and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Simplesat and Discourse

Simplesat + Discourse + Slack: When a new negative answer is received in Simplesat, a new topic is created in Discourse to address the feedback, and a notification is sent to a dedicated Slack channel to alert the team.

Discourse + Simplesat + Zendesk: When a topic is marked as resolved in Discourse, a satisfaction survey is sent via Simplesat to the customer. Subsequently, the corresponding ticket is closed in Zendesk.
