Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack bot and Hive integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack bot and Hive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack bot and Hive

Hive + Google Sheets + Slack bot: When a task is completed in Hive, the automation logs the completion time and the user who completed it into a Google Sheet. Then, a notification message is sent to a designated Slack channel.

Hive + Jira + Slack bot: When a new action (task) is created in Hive, the automation creates a corresponding issue in Jira. Then, it notifies a team channel in Slack about the new Jira issue.
