Depending on your setup, data should flow between Smsapi and Bitly (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Smsapi and Bitly

Smsapi + Bitly + Google Sheets: When an SMS message is sent via Smsapi containing a URL, Bitly shortens the URL. Google Sheets then records the original URL, shortened URL, and timestamp for tracking campaign performance.

Smsapi + Bitly + ClickSend: When sending a text message via Smsapi, Bitly shortens the link included. If Smsapi fails, ClickSend will be used as a backup SMS gateway to send the message with the shortened link.
