Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Square, Google slides, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Square and Google slides integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Square and Google slides (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Square and Google slides

Square + Google Sheets + Google Slides: When a new event occurs in Square (e.g., a new order is placed), the data is added as a new row in Google Sheets. This updated data in Google Sheets then triggers a refresh of a chart in Google Slides to update sales performance figures.

Google Slides + Square + Slack: When a new presentation is created in Google Slides (potentially containing new product information), it triggers a notification to a designated Slack channel. This notification includes a link to create a paid order in Square for the mentioned product.
