Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Captions, Podio, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Captions and Podio integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Captions and Podio (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Captions and Podio
Captions + Podio + Slack: When a new video's captions are generated (using a Captions action like 'Submit Video Generation Request'), the workflow creates a new item in a specified Podio workspace with the caption details. Finally, a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel informing the team about the new caption.
Podio + Captions + Google Drive: When a Podio item is updated, the workflow submits a request to generate captions for a video via Captions. Once the captions are generated, they are stored as a text file in a specified Google Drive folder for easy access and version control.
