Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, Figma, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and Figma integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and Figma (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and Figma

Front + Slack + Figma: When a new conversation arrives in Front, the app checks the message content for specific keywords. If those keywords are present, a message is sent to a dedicated Slack channel to alert designers to the conversation needing design input. Figma integration would be manual here.

Figma + Front + Jira: When a comment is posted in Figma indicating design approval on a file, an issue will automatically be created in Jira. Then, a message is sent in Front to track the implementation of this new Jira ticket.
