Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Github, ConvertAPI, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Github and ConvertAPI integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Github and ConvertAPI (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Github and ConvertAPI

Github + ConvertAPI + Slack: When a new push is made to a Github repository, the documentation files are converted to PDF using ConvertAPI. A message containing a link to the converted PDF is then sent to a designated Slack channel.

ConvertAPI + Github + Google Drive: When a file is converted using ConvertAPI, the resulting file is uploaded to a specified folder in Google Drive. The file's Google Drive URL and conversion details are then added as content to a file within a designated Github repository, creating a conversion log.
