Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring GitLab, ConvertAPI, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the GitLab and ConvertAPI integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between GitLab and ConvertAPI (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect GitLab and ConvertAPI

GitLab + ConvertAPI + Slack: When a new commit is made to a GitLab repository, the relevant documentation files are converted to PDF using ConvertAPI. A summary of the conversion, along with a link to the PDF, is then sent to a designated Slack channel.

GitLab + ConvertAPI + Google Drive: Upon a new commit in GitLab, ConvertAPI converts the related documentation files to PDF. These converted PDF files are then automatically stored in a specified folder within Google Drive, ensuring organized documentation management.
