Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google AppSheet and Captions integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google AppSheet and Captions (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google AppSheet and Captions
Google AppSheet + Captions + Google Drive: When new video feedback is added in Google AppSheet, the automation triggers a transcription in Captions. Upon completion, the resulting transcript is saved to a designated folder in Google Drive.
Captions + Google AppSheet + Slack: After Captions completes a video transcription, the automation adds the transcript to a specified table in Google AppSheet. Then, a notification message is sent to a designated Slack channel, informing the team about the new transcription.
