Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Google AppSheet, Formstack, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google AppSheet and Formstack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google AppSheet and Formstack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google AppSheet and Formstack
Formstack + Google AppSheet + Slack: When a new form submission is received in Formstack, the submission data is added as a new record in Google AppSheet. Then, a message is sent to a Slack channel notifying the team about the new entry.
Formstack + Google AppSheet + Google Sheets: A new form submission in Formstack triggers the addition of a new record in Google AppSheet. Subsequently, the Google AppSheet updates are reflected in a Google Sheet, updating relevant cells or rows.
