After configuring Google Cloud Storage, Formstack, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Google Cloud Storage and Formstack integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Cloud Storage and Formstack (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Formstack + Google Cloud Storage + Slack: When a new submission is received in Formstack, the flow checks if a supporting document has been uploaded to Google Cloud Storage. If it exists, a notification is sent to a Slack channel with a link to the uploaded document.
Formstack + Google Cloud Storage + Google Sheets: Upon a new form submission in Formstack, the flow retrieves the public URL of the uploaded file from Google Cloud Storage and logs the form entry data along with the file URL into a new row in a Google Sheet.
