Most powerful ways to connect Google contacts and Discourse

Google Contacts + Discourse + Slack: When a new contact is added to Google Contacts, a new topic is created in Discourse to announce the new member to the community. A notification is then sent to a Slack channel to alert admins.

Discourse + Google Contacts + Google Sheets: When a new user joins Discourse, the automation checks if the user exists in Google Contacts. If the user isn't found, a new contact is created in Google Contacts, and the new user's information is logged in a Google Sheet.
