Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Forms and Google docs integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Forms and Google docs (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Forms and Google docs
Google Forms + Google Docs + Slack: When a new form is submitted in Google Forms, a new document is created in Google Docs from a template. The text in the template is replaced with the form submission data and then a Slack message is sent to a channel, notifying the team about the new document.
Google Forms + Google Sheets + Google Docs: On a new form submission in Google Forms, a new row is added to a Google Sheet. This new row addition then triggers the creation of a summary document in Google Docs, utilizing the newly added row data.
