Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Google Forms, Sendgrid, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Forms and Sendgrid integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Forms and Sendgrid (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Google Forms and Sendgrid
Google Forms + Google Sheets + Sendgrid: When a new response is submitted in Google Forms, the data is added as a new row in Google Sheets. This new row addition triggers the addition of a contact to a specified Sendgrid mailing list.
Sendgrid + Google Forms + Slack: When Sendgrid registers a bounced email (a Block), a form is created in Google Forms to collect feedback and improve the quality of future submissions. The new submission creates a notification in Slack.
