Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Google Meet, Captions, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google Meet and Captions integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google Meet and Captions (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google Meet and Captions

Google Meet + Captions + Slack: When a new meeting recording is available (assumed, as there is no trigger for meeting recording completion), Captions checks the status of the video generation. Upon completion, a message with the recording link is sent to a dedicated Slack channel.

Captions + Google Meet + Google Docs: Assuming meeting transcripts are generated via Captions, this flow appends the transcript text to a specified Google Docs document. There is no trigger for Google Meet itself so the flow depends on Captions having finished processing. There are no available triggers so it must be manually triggered or run on a schedule.
