Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Harvest, Atera, and any additional nodes, donβt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking βRun onceβ and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and Atera integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and Atera (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and Atera
Harvest + Atera + Slack: When a project's time exceeds the specified budget in Harvest, a new ticket is automatically created in Atera to investigate the overage. A notification is then sent to the project manager in Slack to inform them of the new ticket.
Atera + Harvest + QuickBooks: When an Atera ticket is resolved, the billable time associated with that ticket is automatically logged as a time entry in Harvest. An invoice is then created in QuickBooks for the client based on the logged time.
