Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Harvest, Docparser, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Harvest and Docparser integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Harvest and Docparser (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Harvest and Docparser
Docparser + Google Sheets + Harvest: Extracts time entries from invoices parsed by Docparser. The extracted data is then added to a Google Sheet. Finally, Harvest time entries are created based on the information in the Google Sheet.
Docparser + Harvest + QuickBooks: Extracts timesheet data from documents parsed by Docparser. This data is cross-referenced with Harvest projects to ensure accuracy. Finally, invoices are automatically created in QuickBooks based on the verified timesheet information.
