In the workspace, click the “Create New Scenario” button.

Add the first node – a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Help Scout, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Help Scout or Microsoft Excel will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Help Scout or Microsoft Excel, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Select the Help Scout node from the app selection panel on the right.

After configuring Help Scout, Microsoft Excel, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Help Scout and Microsoft Excel integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Help Scout and Microsoft Excel (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Help Scout + Microsoft Excel + Slack: When a new conversation is started in Help Scout, the details are added to a Microsoft Excel table. If the conversation is tagged as high priority, a message is sent to a Slack channel alerting the support team.
Microsoft Excel + Help Scout + Google Sheets: When a new row is added to a table in Microsoft Excel, customer data is updated in Google Sheets. This update is triggered when Help Scout conversations are resolved, and data is extracted from Excel to be reflected in Google Sheets.
