Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Inoreader, Figma, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Inoreader and Figma integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Inoreader and Figma (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Inoreader and Figma

Inoreader + Figma + Slack: When a new article is added to a specific folder in Inoreader, it triggers a comment to be posted in a designated Figma file for design inspiration. A Slack message is then sent to a specified channel to notify the design team about the new article and Figma comment.

Figma + Inoreader + Jira: When a comment is posted in Figma, a Jira issue is created and linked to the Inoreader article if it exists and if research was previously saved via Inoreader. This allows design teams to easily reference research during development.
