Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Jibble, Google docs, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Jibble and Google docs integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Jibble and Google docs (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Jibble and Google docs
Jibble + Google Docs + Slack: When a new clock in or out event is registered in Jibble, the workflow checks if the employee has exceeded their work hours. If so, it creates a warning document in Google Docs and sends a notification to HR in Slack.
Jibble + Google Docs + Google Sheets: When a new clock in or out event happens in Jibble, the data is appended to a Google Docs document, and a new row is added to a Google Sheets spreadsheet for payroll archiving.
