Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Knack, Google Cloud Pub\Sub, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Knack and Google Cloud Pub\Sub integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Knack and Google Cloud Pub\Sub (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Knack and Google Cloud Pub\Sub
Knack + Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Slack: When a record is updated in Knack, a message is published to a Google Cloud Pub/Sub topic. This triggers a notification to be sent to a specified Slack channel, alerting users about the data change.
Google Cloud Pub/Sub + Knack + Google Sheets: When a message is received by a Google Cloud Pub/Sub subscription, data is used to update a record in Knack. A summary of this update is then added to a Google Sheet for reporting purposes.
