Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring LiveChat, Captions, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the LiveChat and Captions integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between LiveChat and Captions (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect LiveChat and Captions

LiveChat + Captions + Google Sheets: When a LiveChat conversation ends (is deactivated), the conversation transcript is sent to Captions for transcription. Once transcribed, the text is added as a new row in a Google Sheet for analysis.

LiveChat + Captions + Slack: When a new chat comes in, the agents records the conversation and the recording will be send to Captions for subtitles and sent to a Slack channel for review.
