Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring LiveChat, Google docs, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the LiveChat and Google docs integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between LiveChat and Google docs (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect LiveChat and Google docs

LiveChat + Google Docs + Slack: When a LiveChat conversation is deactivated, the transcript is appended to a Google Docs document. A Slack message is then sent to a specified channel to notify the team that the transcript has been archived.

Google Docs + LiveChat + Gmail: When a new document is created in Google Docs, summarize FAQ and send as message via LiveChat. Then email the LiveChat transcript to a specified address.
