Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring MongoDB, Acapela Cloud, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the MongoDB and Acapela Cloud integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between MongoDB and Acapela Cloud (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect MongoDB and Acapela Cloud

MongoDB + Acapela Cloud + Slack: When a new document is added to a MongoDB collection, Acapela Cloud synthesizes voice from a specified text field in the document. Then, a message containing a link to the synthesized audio file is sent to a designated Slack channel.

Acapela Cloud + MongoDB + Google Sheets: When Acapela Cloud generates an audio file, the request details (like text input, voice used, etc.) are logged into a MongoDB collection. A summary of monthly usage, extracted from MongoDB, is then added as a new row in a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
