Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Okta, Captions, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Okta and Captions integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Okta and Captions (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Okta and Captions
Captions + Slack + Okta: When a video is processed in Captions, its transcript and recording link are automatically posted to a dedicated Slack channel. User access to the Slack channel is managed via Okta groups.
Captions + Google Drive + Okta: After Captions transcribes a meeting video, the video file is uploaded to Google Drive. File sharing permissions are then set based on Okta group memberships, ensuring only authorized users can access the content.
