Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Podio, Captions, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Podio and Captions integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Podio and Captions (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Podio and Captions

Podio + Captions + Google Drive: When a project item is updated in Podio, a request is sent to Captions to generate video captions. Upon successful generation, the caption file is automatically saved to a designated folder in Google Drive.

Podio + Captions + Slack: When a project item is updated in Podio, a request to generate captions is sent to Captions. Upon completion, the flow sends a Slack message to a specified channel to notify the team that the captions are ready.
