Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Qwilr, Jira, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Qwilr and Jira integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Qwilr and Jira (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Qwilr and Jira

Qwilr + Jira + Slack: When a Qwilr proposal is accepted, a new issue is created in Jira to track the next steps. A message is then sent to a Slack channel to notify the team of the accepted proposal and the creation of the Jira issue.

Jira + Qwilr + Google Sheets: When a Jira issue is updated (specifically, when it is completed), the automation finds the linked Qwilr proposal. Then, it updates a Google Sheet with metrics related to that proposal and the completed Jira task.
