Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Recut, Canny, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Recut and Canny integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Recut and Canny (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Recut and Canny

Recut + Canny + Slack: When a video link is created or updated in Recut, a post is created in Canny with the video link. Subsequently, a message is sent to a Slack channel to notify the team about the new Canny post.

Canny + Recut + Google Drive: When a feature request receives a new vote in Canny, a new project is created in Recut. Then, a file is uploaded to Google Drive to store project-related files.
