Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Recut, Mailhook, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Recut and Mailhook integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Recut and Mailhook (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Recut and Mailhook

Mailhook + Recut + Google Drive: When a video file is sent via Mailhook, Recut will shorten the link, and a backup copy of the file will be stored in Google Drive.

Mailhook + Recut + Slack: When Mailhook receives video feedback, Recut edits the video by updating the link, and Slack notifies the team of the updated version through a public channel message.
