Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Render, Canny, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Render and Canny integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Render and Canny (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Render and Canny

Render + Canny + Slack: When a Render deployment fails, find the relevant Canny post based on the feature being deployed and notify a Slack channel with details about the failure and a link to the Canny post.

Canny + Jira + Render: When a Canny feature request receives a new vote, create a Jira ticket to track the feature development and trigger a deploy of a staging environment in Render to start development.
