Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring RingCentral, Hive, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the RingCentral and Hive integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between RingCentral and Hive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect RingCentral and Hive

RingCentral + Hive + Slack: When a new missed call is received in RingCentral, a task is created in Hive to follow up. A message is then sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the team of the missed call and the created task.

Hive + RingCentral + Google Calendar: When a task is created or updated in Hive, RingCentral generates a RingOut call to the assignee as a reminder and creates an event in Google Calendar to reflect the task's due date.
