Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Salesforce, Hive, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Salesforce and Hive integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Salesforce and Hive (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Salesforce and Hive

Salesforce + Hive + Slack: When a new lead is created in Salesforce, a task is created in Hive to follow up on the new lead, and a notification is sent to a designated Slack channel informing the sales team.

Hive + Salesforce + Google Sheets: When a task is updated in Hive, the corresponding opportunity status in Salesforce is updated. Details of the updated task are then logged in Google Sheets for reporting purposes.
