Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Sendgrid, OpenPhone, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and OpenPhone integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and OpenPhone (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Sendgrid and OpenPhone

OpenPhone + Sendgrid + Slack: When a call transcript is generated in OpenPhone, the system identifies potential leads based on keywords or sentiment analysis (done externally, Latenode doesn't do this). If a lead is deemed 'hot', Sendgrid can send a targeted email, and a notification is posted to a designated sales channel in Slack.

OpenPhone + HubSpot + Sendgrid: When a new call is logged in OpenPhone, a call engagement is created in HubSpot. Subsequently, a personalized follow-up email sequence is triggered in Sendgrid based on the HubSpot contact record.
