Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Sendgrid, Quickbase, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Sendgrid and Quickbase integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Sendgrid and Quickbase (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Sendgrid and Quickbase

Sendgrid + Quickbase + Slack: When a Sendgrid email campaign encounters a critical error (although a direct trigger is not available, we can use a webhook to watch for alerts), a message is sent to a designated Slack channel, containing relevant information extracted from Quickbase records.

Quickbase + Sendgrid + Twilio: When a record is updated in Quickbase, a Sendgrid email is sent to confirm an appointment, and a Twilio SMS reminder is scheduled to be sent before the appointment time. As a replacement for scheduling the SMS, we will send immediately after Sendgrid sends the confirmation.
