Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Shippo, PostgreSQL, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Shippo and PostgreSQL integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Shippo and PostgreSQL (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Shippo and PostgreSQL

Shippo + PostgreSQL + Shopify: When a new shipping label is created in Shippo, the shipping data is saved to PostgreSQL. This data is then used to update the corresponding order details in Shopify with tracking information.

PostgreSQL + Shippo + Slack: When a new or updated row is detected in PostgreSQL, indicating a shipping issue, the workflow finds the order in Shippo. A notification is then sent to a Slack channel, linking to the Shippo order for detailed information.
