Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Simplesat, Github, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Simplesat and Github integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Simplesat and Github (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Simplesat and Github

Simplesat + Github + Slack: When a new answer is received in Simplesat indicating a bug, a new issue is created in Github. The development team is then notified in Slack about the new issue.

Github + Jira + Simplesat: When a Github issue is updated, specifically when it is closed, the issue is updated in Jira. A Simplesat survey is then sent to the issue reporter to gather feedback on the resolution.
