Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Simplybook and Discourse integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Simplybook and Discourse (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Simplybook and Discourse

Simplybook + Discourse + Slack: When a new booking is made in Simplybook, a new topic is created in a specified Discourse channel to announce it. A Slack message is then sent to a designated Slack channel to notify staff of the new booking.

Discourse + Simplybook + Google Calendar: When a new topic is created in Discourse, the system checks for keywords related to bookings. If identified, it extracts relevant booking details (date, time, subject) and automatically creates a corresponding event in Google Calendar.
