Create a New Scenario to Connect Slack bot and Google Cloud Translate
In the workspace, click the โCreate New Scenarioโ button.
Add the First Step
Add the first node โ a trigger that will initiate the scenario when it receives the required event. Triggers can be scheduled, called by a Slack bot, triggered by another scenario, or executed manually (for testing purposes). In most cases, Slack bot or Google Cloud Translate will be your first step. To do this, click "Choose an app," find Slack bot or Google Cloud Translate, and select the appropriate trigger to start the scenario.

Select the Slack bot node from the app selection panel on the right.

Configure the Slack bot
Click on the Slack bot node to configure it. You can modify the Slack bot URL and choose between DEV and PROD versions. You can also copy it for use in further automations.
Add the Google Cloud Translate Node
Next, click the plus (+) icon on the Slack bot node, select Google Cloud Translate from the list of available apps, and choose the action you need from the list of nodes within Google Cloud Translate.

Authenticate Google Cloud Translate
Now, click the Google Cloud Translate node and select the connection option. This can be an OAuth2 connection or an API key, which you can obtain in your Google Cloud Translate settings. Authentication allows you to use Google Cloud Translate through Latenode.
Configure the Slack bot and Google Cloud Translate Nodes
Next, configure the nodes by filling in the required parameters according to your logic. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Save and Activate the Scenario
After configuring Slack bot, Google Cloud Translate, and any additional nodes, donโt forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking โRun onceโ and triggering an event to check if the Slack bot and Google Cloud Translate integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack bot and Google Cloud Translate (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Slack bot + Google Cloud Translate + Google Sheets: When a new message is posted in a Slack channel, the message is translated to English using Google Cloud Translate, and the original message along with its translation are added as a new row in a Google Sheet for analysis.
Slack bot + Google Cloud Translate + Zendesk: When a new message containing a support request is posted in a designated Slack channel, the message's language is detected and translated using Google Cloud Translate. A new ticket is then created in Zendesk with the translated request. Note: the slack bot part is omitted since there is no trigger for new messages in slack channel, but you can trigger the flow manually.
