Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Creatomate, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Creatomate integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Creatomate (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Creatomate

Creatomate + Slack + Google Drive: When a new render is completed in Creatomate, a message containing a link to the video is sent to a Slack channel. The video file is then automatically uploaded to a specified folder in Google Drive for archiving.

Airtable + Creatomate + Slack: When new records are added to an Airtable base, Creatomate renders a video from JSON data extracted from these records. A link to the newly created video is then shared in a designated Slack channel.
