Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Google Forms, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Google Forms integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Google Forms (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Google Forms

Google Forms + Google Sheets + Slack: When a new response is submitted via Google Forms, the data is added as a new row to a Google Sheet. A summary of the submission is then posted to a designated Slack channel.

Google Forms + Google Calendar + Slack: Upon form submission, a Google Calendar event is created, and invitations are sent to the submitter and specified team members. A confirmation message, including event details, is posted to a Slack channel.
