Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Slack, Scrapeless, and any additional nodes, donโ€™t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking โ€œRun onceโ€ and triggering an event to check if the Slack and Scrapeless integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Slack and Scrapeless (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Slack and Scrapeless

Scrapeless + Google Sheets + Slack: This automation scrapes data from a specified URL using Scrapeless, then adds the scraped data as a new row in a Google Sheet. Finally, a Slack message is sent to a designated channel to notify users of the updated data.

Scrapeless + Discord bot + Slack: The workflow starts by Scrapeless scraping data from a specific URL. A summary of the scraped data is then sent to a Discord channel via a bot. If the scraped data exceeds a predefined threshold compared to previous scrapes (implementation needed via javascript function to calculate the threshold), a Slack message is sent to a specified channel as an alert.
