Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring SmartSuite, Figma, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the SmartSuite and Figma integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SmartSuite and Figma (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect SmartSuite and Figma

SmartSuite + Figma + Slack: When a task in SmartSuite is updated, the automation finds the linked Figma design file. Then it sends a message to a Slack channel notifying the team about the updated task and providing a link to the Figma file.

Figma + SmartSuite + Google Drive: When a new Figma design is created, a new project brief is automatically generated in SmartSuite. The Figma file is then saved to a specified folder in Google Drive.
