Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring SmartSuite, MySQL, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the SmartSuite and MySQL integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between SmartSuite and MySQL (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect SmartSuite and MySQL

SmartSuite + MySQL + Slack: When a new project record is created in SmartSuite, its details are recorded in a MySQL database. A Slack notification is then sent to the team to inform them about the new project.

MySQL + SmartSuite + Google Sheets: When a row is updated in a MySQL database, the updated information is reflected in a SmartSuite solution. Then, data is visualized in Google Sheets by updating a specific row.
