Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Softr, Github, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Softr and Github integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Softr and Github (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Softr and Github

Softr + Github + Slack: When a new feature request is submitted via Softr, automatically create a corresponding issue in Github. Then, notify a designated Slack channel about the newly created issue, including relevant details from the Softr submission.

Github + Softr + Google Sheets: Track Github issues related to a Softr app. When an issue's status changes in Github, log these changes in a Google Sheet, including the issue title, current status, and any relevant Softr data, for comprehensive reporting.
