Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Square, Bitbucket, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking β€œRun once” and triggering an event to check if the Square and Bitbucket integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Square and Bitbucket (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Square and Bitbucket

Square + Bitbucket + Slack: When a payment fails in Square (detected through New Events trigger), a new issue is created in Bitbucket to track the problem. Subsequently, a Slack message is sent to the development team to notify them of the failure and the created issue.

Bitbucket + Square + Jira: When a new commit is made to a Bitbucket repository, a refund is issued in Square. A Jira ticket is then created to track the changes and ensure quality checks are performed.
