After configuring Apify, Google AppSheet, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.
Test the Scenario
Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Apify and Google AppSheet integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Apify and Google AppSheet (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.
Most powerful ways to connect Apify and Google AppSheet
Apify + Google AppSheet + Slack: When an Apify actor finishes running and scraping website data, the collected data is added as new records to a Google AppSheet. A Slack message is then sent to a designated channel to alert the team about the data update.
Google AppSheet + Apify + Google Sheets: When data is updated in Google AppSheet, it triggers Apify to scrape a specific URL. The scraped data from Apify is then used to update a row in a Google Sheet.
