Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Front, Grist, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Front and Grist integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Front and Grist (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Front and Grist

Front + Grist + Slack: When a new conversation event occurs in Front, a new record is created in Grist to track the conversation. If the conversation is flagged as urgent based on certain criteria, a message is sent to a designated Slack channel to notify the team.

Grist + Front + HubSpot: When a new record is created or updated in Grist, the automation checks if a contact with a matching email exists in HubSpot. If it does, the contact is updated. If not, a new contact is created. The automation also updates the HubSpot contact with the URL of relevant Front conversations, enhancing context for sales or support teams.
