Save and Activate the Scenario

After configuring Google docs, Front, and any additional nodes, don’t forget to save the scenario and click "Deploy." Activating the scenario ensures it will run automatically whenever the trigger node receives input or a condition is met. By default, all newly created scenarios are deactivated.

Test the Scenario

Run the scenario by clicking “Run once” and triggering an event to check if the Google docs and Front integration works as expected. Depending on your setup, data should flow between Google docs and Front (or vice versa). Easily troubleshoot the scenario by reviewing the execution history to identify and fix any issues.

Most powerful ways to connect Google docs and Front

Google Docs + Front + Slack: When a new Google Doc is created, its content is summarized. A new Front conversation is created with the summary, and a Slack message is sent to a channel with a link to the Front conversation.

Front + Google Docs + Google Sheets: When a new event occurs in Front, a new Google Doc is created from text. The title and URL of the Google Doc, along with details from the Front event, are then added as a new row in Google Sheets.
